Jose Medrado Event

Yesterday I had the joy of organising a Melbourne event in conjunction with Wallacia Development Centre, with world famous trance medium artist Jose Medrado! The event was graciously hosted by the Victorian Spiritualist Union (Serving Spiritualism since 1870) in their North Melbourne church.

Initially A video was shown of the city of light in Brazil, and photos of the remarkable works of art achieved during mediumship trance when the spirit team have more time to focus on a single painting. These items below took the entranced medium approx 2 hours each and are painted on timber: (see below).

Jose Medrado explained his awakening spiritually started when he was a young man around the around of 17 and Initially his friends and family did not understand it but grew to later accept his gifts. Jose has also been a very successful physical medium achieving a full materialised spirit form fondly referred to as “the bride”. The image on the left is a photo of ectoplasm from the entranced medium while the second is a photo of the materialised form. If you look closely you will see in the second image the entranced medium is also shown in the same photo as his remarkable materialised spirit form. It is estimated this was around the 1980’s.

Jose explained to me that he decided to no longer practice physical mediumship as it took a great toll on his own health. When the ectoplasm was in the room in either vapour or physical substance form, it was very sensitive to conditions and absorb both energy and sometimes conditions of the sitters - such as those with influenza or the cold. When the ectoplasm was exposed to light sources it also severely affected his health and took some time to recover from such experiences.

Today Jose is surrounded by a wonderful spirit team who entrance him and use his form to achieve remarkable paintings in only minutes. The moment the spirit personality steps forward Medrado explained the sensation is much like like a quick electrical zap, or similar to when you knock your elbow. The spirit personalities are vastly different and you see this in their mannerism as they paint. The changing from one painter to the other is quite rapid and their styles all very different.

Below are the expectional paintings from our event at the VSU on the 27th october 2018, where all were auctioned off raising more than $5000 for the City of Light in Brazil:

I was fortunate to win this beautiful (above) painting during the live auction. This painting was done in minutes through the entranced medium and the spirit artist was Vincent Van Gogh.

I also won this painting (above) during the auction and donated the piece to the Victorian Spiritualist Union to thank them for graciously giving us access to their sacred space for the Jose Medrado demonstrations.

The City of Light project in Brazil is remarkable work inspired by Spirit. Jose has shared that Renoir was the first to approach him at a time where the world did not have access to google and in Brazil he certain had no access to any information on Renoir. He explained he found the name unusual but the master artists advised Jose he would work with him to turn paint into bread. A symbolic statement that shared a vision the spirit world have for Brazil where their work with Medrado would allow the resources to make the city of light possible.

The city of light is a cultural centre that gives opportunities, education, medical care and support to those who need it most. In its early days the centre also operated an orphanage. Today all funds achieved through his demonstrations are entirely donated to the City of Light to ensure this work continues! Any donations you can contribute will help those most in need.
